They have no motive power in the new dispensation, this new dispensation of Christ and the brightness of his coming. Throughout one is reminded, of course, of the Exodus, led by the brothers Moses and Aaron, even to the magic staff, the crossing of the sea, and Moses ascent to the holy mountain. It is worth noting that the physical world (personified by the Egyptian Pharaoh and his army) still has its claims on the chosen ones, the souls of the enlightened. The community of the faithful is still pursued by the earthly powers but, led by the great Great Initiate, they escape by passing unscathed through the waters of death— as symbolized by the Red Sea. The death of the Egyptian firstborn foreshadows the succumbing to mortality of those who chose the way of physicality.
The Messianic era which is destined eventually to lead to the Promised Land of Earth’s Golden Age, and during which our function is to act — as a kind of collective Messiah, or midwife to the New World which alone would permit man access to the ‘promised land’ of eternal Life beacons, and meanwhile, those who fail to make good the crossing, in symbol remain bound to utter mortality.

FEW FORTIFICATIONS YET STOOD

Annunciation way
Virtue: The day Angel Gabriel visited the blessed Virgin Mary to tell she would be the mother of the savior. The appearance of his star, time bound!
Vice: The beast raged against the walls that kept the savior safe and sound. Just as the host of heaven had enunciated. The beast was not equal to the Lord of lords and the King of kings; God’s chosen hero, the messiah had defeated evil once and for all.
A new demand is made for men single-mindedly to devote all their energies and wealth to the urgent need finally to escape from physicality.
Flagship truth
Virtue: A leader ought to leave affairs of reproach to be managed by others, while keeping those of grace in his own hands.
Vice: Let others make recriminations, give unwelcome orders, make dismissal or demotion;
The leader should be the one to reward and praise.
Collaboration life
‘When you see vice thinking more of his own interests than of his leader’s’, and seeking inwardly his own profit in everything, such a one will never make a good assistant, nor will he ever be trustworthy, for he who has the state of another in his hands ought never to think of himself, but always of his principal, and never pay any attention to matters in which the leader is not concerned.
There are two ways of resolving disputes, the one by agreement, the other by contest; the first method is proper to mankind, the second to animals. But because the first has frequently proved insufficient, men have often taken recourse to the second.
Armor of God
I think it was Pope John Paul II who said, “It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness, He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you. He is the beauty to which you are attracted…”
Inasmuch as the world is a place where mindsets differ, distortions persist. It is the responsibility of leaders to exhibit a graceful display of courage in the face of challenges, parasitic, mean-spirited or otherwise.

Virtue: The power of God yet stood when Peter struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. (Luke 22:50-51). Confronted by vice, the apostles would have been struck by its shadowy appearance.
Vice: The ambition of men often correlates with the lesser light- in varied degrees of darkness’s. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
What, then, is harmony most like? As thesaurus analogy suggests, it is cooperation, friendship, good will, peace, understanding, so on and so forth
